Each pod can contain as many as 600 or more seeds. The best way, since they can be messy, is to cut the skin of the pod, put it in water, and pull it apart. The seeds will drop out into the dish. Be sure to refrigerate the seeds you do not use right away in an airtight plastic bag.
Eating pomegranate:
- Put them in a smoothie with berries, kale, spinach, or apple
- Stir them into grain cereal with flax or hemp seeds
- Juice the seeds
- Or, just munch on them as a super food snack!
